    Please,take your sleep apnea serious.It could kill you.My 27 year old son was always a very loud snorer gained a lot of weight recently,and had trouble with falling asleep while driving to work.He was always tired and had trouble breathing.He had a appointment to go to a sleep apena study,but cancelled it.     I was initially skeptical about a polysomnography…and what the big fuss is over sleep apnea/snoring. I am a 48 yr old female, normal weight, good health overall, with ADHD since childhood treated (reluctantly) with Adderall. I also am a “window rattler” in terms of snoring and wake up choking sometimes. My husband tells me that I sometimes stop breathing when I am sleeping and it stresses him out because he is not sure if/when I’ll start up again. [more..]

    I began having a difficulties in 1992. These included behavioral problems: poor impulse control and attacks of rage. There were also sleep problems, finding myself keeping myself awake until I just couldn’t avoid sleep, especially during the week, and inability to wake up and falling aspleep at unwanted times, especially afternoons at work.
