Need MMA insurance help

I have had apnea for years, have had four surgeries already, none helped very much. CPAP is making me miserable and I’ve been told by several surgeons that I need an MMA (maxillo-mandibular advancement). I live in Florida, but finally found a surgeon in Denver who takes Tricare (military) insurance. I flew out there and saw the surgeon twice, getting all the xrays, photos, imprints, measurements, etc. My surgery was scheduled for last Tuesday, but Tricare denied authorization on Monday evening. They say MMA is not a recognized treatment for OSA. Any ideas?
