I am a male of 49 years, a lttle overweight and a drinker but I never drink after dinner and it is about 3 hours later before sleep. My problem is the closing of the flap in my throat. It is happening as soon as I go to sleep now. I go into a deep sleep quickly. I wake as though I can’t breathe and I feel like I will die from it one time. My throat on these occasions feels completely blocked and seems to take minutes to be able to breathe. I crash around the house struggling to breathe again. It is a very terrifying thing…My doctor said there was nothing wrong with my throat and it was pshycological..interesting!!! I wonder if others feel like this… Lou Comments
