sarcoidosis

I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis about 11 yrs ago at the age of 28 (white female) I went through a gammot of symptoms over the course of about 5 mth until they finally discovered the problems that were occuring with my eyes went hand in hand with all of the other things I had been experiencing the 6 mths prior and told me it was Sarcoid.

It started with joint pain mostly in my ankles to the point I could hardly do stairs, what they thought were mumps, bells polsy, fatigue, weight loss, night sweats, terrible mouth ulcers and a general feeling of malaise. All of which got labled as post partum symptoms as I had just had a baby at the time. Finally my eyes became so bad that my eye doctor figured out what was wrong and sent me to the specialists. who sent me for all the tests and diagnosed me with Sarcoid.

As soon as they figured out what was wrong the symptoms all started to subside after running their course for almost 6 mths. I thought I was a hypocondriac and was losing my mind. Since then I have also struggled over the years with Atrial Fib. I have always wondered if there was any relation to the two. LAtely I have had joint pain again but mostly in my hands, psariasis of the scalp, frequent mouth ulcers had hives twice this year. Any time any thing sort of weird or unexplained occurs I always wonder if the sarcoid is back but my Doctor says no, it is un related. Jsut wondered what other experience. I was told I was very young to have sarcoid.

Does anyone have reocurring problems with this disease or do symptoms like mine typically stay as a one time deal with Sarcoid and perhaps the newer symptoms I am encountering have nothing to do with it. Anyone have anything similar please let me know. Thanks
