To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download sarcoidosis (spelled it right :)) I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis ~5 years ago. I had a biopsy performed on tissue after having a nose surgery to help with sinus and breathing problems (Hindsight 20/20 probably related to the sarcoidosis). At the time, I was 30 but going back I can think of more than a few symptoms that match up. At 19 I developed lesions on my arms and trunk. They would go away after some months but would show up elsewhere later. My doc at the time just told me it was the winter itch and I had sensative skin. During a green card health screening in the states I was notified blemishes in my lungs even though the tuburculosis test showed negative. There have been some periods where I have difficulty breathing, but mostly they were when I was younger and smoked. I quit cold turkey at 24 because I was having such a hard time breathing. Looking back, it was probably the combination of the smoking an the sarcoidosis in the lungs. I’ve had more recent xrays and the lungs look clean now. These days the problem is numbness in extremitys and face. Just on the left side though. Comments
