My sister’s caugh and blood

My dear sister Conny is a 52 year old healthy woman who until recently did Yoga and was very fit. However, after a trip to Europe where she walked a lot, she realised she wasn’t so aerobically fit as she would often get tired. Smoking being oh, so popular in Europe she was smoking quite a bit too. Today six months after she is no longer smoking and is not even a shadow of what she was before. She has started to cough up blood. She was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus and we are not sure if this is part of the symptoms or a more dangerous condition.
We are keeping faith alive and hoping for the best. How will this story develop? I do not know but I will share with others.
