Spitting up blood

by: D.R. on Fri, Nov 16 2007

Well for the past couple of mornings I’ve had an empty feeling in my stomach and the urge to throw up. This morning was the same but instead of throwing up I coughed up blood

No I do not make myself throw up and do not force it, I try to stop myself but it just happens and only a few times anyways. I was shocked..so first I checked the inside of my mouth for the cause and located nothing and neither could it be found lurking in the back of my throat.

I have had a slight irritation in my lungs and difficulty breathing so maybe just an infection? I did have to go to the hospital in the past for “walking pneumonia” (though trust me I wasn’t happy about the walking part) and was put on antibiotics for a respiratory infection, could it be this again?
