To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download just diagnosed I’m soon to be 52 and was just diagnosed with copd I started smoking when I was 19, quit for 5 years when I was 32, started smoking again and quit 3 years ago. Figured I had gotten that demon off my back and now this. Added to that is the fact that I have scoliosis which will affect my breathing as I get older and my curve continues to worsen. I’m not sharing this with my family, no need to upset my parents or my siblings, my kids won’t get the news either, I’ll tell them when it’s necessary. My husband does know…I’m hoping he’ll think about quitting smoking now. I’m pissed off at myself for ever starting let alone that I could’ve been smoke free for 20 years if I hadn’t started up again. I’m praying I’ll be able to stay healthy for a long time to come, God willing. Comments
