To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Mum with copd My mum who has had copd for 6 years is 86 and we are still trying to keep on top of it, i would say to anyone who cares for someone with copd never let things slide, always keep on top of this condition, as my mum has signs that tell me she has an infection even before it shows. we are very lucky to have a team of nurses that treat my mother, and who i can call on at any time. They trust my judgement when i say she has a infection coming, so we are able to treat it before it get a grip. the most important thing i would say is to make sure a sputum is sent to the doctor so that you treat the right infection, this is how we stay on top of this condition. If you nurse someone with this condition always trust your instincts even when nurses and doctors say other wise.as you who knows this person will proberly be right, as they form a pattern. Comments
