As a child I had allergy shots and yearly infections. The last 7-8 years had been the worst. Sometimes I knew my airway had closed completely. Over the years, several pulmonary doctors had told me I had asthma and when that treatment failed to work they gave up. Two suggested it was all in my head. I also had CAT scans, x-rays and tubes up my nose and into my stomach. Finally, I found a doctor who would do a Broncoscope. With that, they use a small camera on the end of a tube that goes into your airways. This is a very effective diagnostic tool. I had a name for my problem, Trachea/Bronchial Malaise. I ended up seeing a surgeon in Boston, MA. Comments
