To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Adult onset Asthma Other than a sinusitus (sp?) problem since early childhood; I have never been sick. When I was diagnosed with Asthma the doctor asked me if I could move back to where I was from. Four years in Montana was taking its toll on me and this is the land where my husband grew up. I spent my entire life on the coast of California and was ready to move to a small town to have a different life. The house in Montana needed work and like a dummy, I did not think I needed protection because I was strong and had never been sick. Sheet rock construction on the house from top to bottom took 2 years to complete and the street one over was going through a two year widening city project. Wind in Montana is greater than Chicago and the elements of extreme dry, hot, and frigid climates were to be my downfall. Now, divorced after 20 years and asthma for 7 years I wonder if my husband was right and that I would have eventually ended up with Asthma due to the sinus problem. The last 30 days I layed off all medication because I was getting so big I could hardly dress myslef. I refuse to take the steriods due to all the side effects and it has been a rough 30 days. Today I will ask for an alternative to steroids….any suggestions out there? Comments
