To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Surviving ARDS I am currently (Spring ‘06) recovering from ARDS. To make it brief, I had bronchitis, took one antibiotic and I got worse. My doctor put me on a second type and I got worse. My wise daughter took me to the emargency room. Nothing the doctors tried helped. Suddenly “the lights went out” and I remember nothing of three weeks. I was on life support for 8 days. When I began to regain consciousness I was unable to walk or talk. I was mentally confused for a week. I spent three weeks in rehab and made an astonishing full recovery. I truly believe in the power of prayer because my doctors call me a miracle that they can hardly believe. Comments
