Problem faced due to ARDS

by: BSR on Fri, Jan 11 2008

Four years back, I had acute intestinal obstruction. Doctors had to go for a surgical intervention to solve this problem. Due to general anesthesia, I had respiratory problems following days of surgery. It was very hard for me to inhale and exhale and there was no proper sleep. My X-rays indicated almost complete black spots across two lungs. Doctors thought of using a ventilator on me, but later given me nebulation through out the night. I responded to that medicine well, and subsequent day, I was totally alright.
