ARDS casued by bile duct stones

by: anil on Wed, Sep 19 2007

my cobrother is now ijn hosp with ARDS…On examination, he was found to have stones in the passage leading to the intestine from the bile. And his pancreas was also inflammed…The funny thing is he was diagnosed as a diabetic since 1995..wonder if it was the stone blockage that orevented the insulin to get out….Is this hypothesis likely to have some value
